The All American Girl Pageant system offers 3 levels of competition. Local (Preliminary), State, and Nationals. While we encourage participating at each level, contestants can compete at any level, no experience needed!

Levels of Competition

AGE DIVISIONS

Age Divisions are Determined by the Child's Age as of September 1st of Competition Season​

Baby Miss (1-2)

Tiny Miss (3-4)

Mini Miss (5-6)

Little Miss (7-8)

Young Miss (9-11)

Jr Teen Miss (12-14)

Teen Miss (15-18)

Optional Competitions

Optionals will be judged separately from the Overall competition and are not required to win the Overall State Title! Each optional will have a winner crowned for every division.

Interview/Playtime 50%

Playtime will be for the Baby Miss and Tiny Miss division, with all others interviewing with the judges one-on-one, round robin style. You will have 2 minutes with each of our 3 judges.

Talent

For those who have an interest in the performing arts! Can include (but not limited to) dancing, singing, spoken word, or musical instruments. Talent/Music must be 2.5 minutes or less. All musical instruments must be provided by the participant.

Competition Elements

Liberty's Girl

The Liberty's Girl competition combines personal introductions and formal wear. Participants can wear high glamour dresses or those suited for the Party/Formal Wear competition. A 30-second personal introduction is required during this optional.

Fun Fashion

The optional Fun Fashion competition is for those girls who love fashion modeling and working the runway. Hand gestures, and fashion type modeling using the AAG pattern is allowed in this competition.

Personal Introduction 25%

During the casual wear competition, you will have no more than 30 seconds to introduce yourself to the judges. Mandatory components of the introduction include name, age, and hometown. You are allowed to do hand gestures but not touch the mic. 

Photogenic

The optional Photogenic competition evaluates a contestant’s ability to project charisma and brand identity through professional imagery. We want a headshot style photo that demonstrates a genuine connection with the camera. Styling must be strictly age-appropriate, favoring a natural aesthetic.

Party/Formal Wear 15%

Using the All American Girl modeling pattern, you will model a party dress or formal gown of your choosing that is age appropriate.

Baby-Young Miss: Dress should be 

within 1" above or below the knee. Must have at least a 1" strap. 

Jr. Teen-Miss: Dress should be long and pretty close to touching the floor, not dragging or tripping over. Jr. Teen must have some kind of strap. Teen and Miss can have strapless dresses.

Casual Wear 10%

Using the All American Girl modeling pattern, you will model an outfit of your choosing such as a pantsuit, dress, etc. that is age appropriate. No jeans or tennis shoes are allowed.
